The Friendly Squares was organized in 1947 as "The Friendly Club".  The first President and Caller was C. B. Buthrie.  Over the years the Club has danced at several different locations and has had a number of Different Callers.  The length of time the Club has been in existence is a testimony to the popularity of the activity, and the quality of the Club Officers who have served over the years.

Our Caller is Lee McCormick and His lovely Taw is Cathy McCormick.  Lee has been Calling all over the country for the last 50 years and is a extremely talented and personable Caller.  While our Club dances every other tip at the plus level, Lee makes every tip a challenge to dance and generally calls to the floor level.
