GUESS WHO

The Yellow Rockers Square Dance Club was organized in 1986.  The first Caller was Truman Brashears.  In 1988 Truman moved to Dallas , TX and James Laurel took over the Caller spot.  James and his lovely and helpful wife Mary Lee live in Mathis, Texas on Lake Corpus Christi.

The Yellow Rockers have danced at the Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church (see map) since they began.

We dance Basic, Mainstream, and Plus.

Our Club celebrates "Party Night" on the 2nd Tuesday of each month  We often have a theme for our Party Night.  The food and dress often fit the theme such as "Hobo Night" (home made stew), "Fifties Dance" (ice cream & root beer) etc.

Come and enjoy an evening of fun, fellowship, and good old square dancing with us.

We dance on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm--9:30 pm
Round dance instruction from 7:00 pm-7:30 pm with basic rounds between tips.

We do not dance on the 5th Tuesday of a month.
